Known internationally for his distinctive trumpet style he also displays his virtuosity on several other instruments including the trombone, flugel horn, euphonium, tuba, saxophone, and piano. The 1990 "Australian Performer of the Year" has played at some of the worlds major venues and jazz festivals as well as playing with many of the worlds leading jazz and classical players including, Dizzy Gillespie, Wynton Marsalis, B.B. King, Maynard Ferguson, George Benson, Ray Brown, Ray Charles, Quincy Jones, Phil Collins, Frank Sinatra, The London Symphony Orchestra and London Philharmonic Orchestra.
